PORTLAND, Ore. – Rocky Mountain broke open a close game with four second half goals to claim a Cascade Conference win over Warner Pacific.
Emily Browne gave the visiting Bears a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute, but the WPU defense kept RMC quiet for much of the half.
The host Knights managed five shots and three corner kicks after halftime, but is was Rocky that found their attack. Lauren Gamache scored three goals for the Bears after halftime to put the game out of reach.
RMC improved to 8-5-1 overall and 4-4-1 in CCC play. WPU fell to 3-12, and 2-7.
WPU will honor six seniors on Saturday before their final home game of the season versus College of Idaho.
