PORTLAND, Ore. - The Warner Pacific women's soccer team opened the home portion of their schedule with a 2-0 loss to George Fox at Eastside Timbers Sports Complex.

The host Knights played the Bruins to a stalemate in the first half, as neither team seriously threatened their opponents goal.

GFU broke through in the 53rd minute with a breakaway goal from Savannah Moisan. 19 minutes later, Moisan struck again with a point blank finish after a corner kick delivery.

Goal keeper Alyssa Guthrie made eight saves for WPU, while Tear'Sa Krieger got forward for two shot attempts.
