PORTLAND, Ore. - Four second half goals sent Warner Pacific to a 5-1 win over Multnomah today at Eastside Timbers Soccer Complex.
Though the final score was a lopsided result for the Knights, it was the host Lions that struck first in the contest. Desiree Arocha collected the ball at the top of the box, turned and scored to give MU a 1-0 lead.
With just under five minutes to go in the first half, the game was tied as the Knights sent a cross in front of the goal, bouncing off the head of a MU defender before crossing the line for an own goal.
The second half was all Knights as
Winter Her,
Tear'Sa Krieger,
Ashley Giesbers, and
Alexis Smith found the back of the net over a 20 minute span.
