Knights Roll To a Home Win

Portland, Ore. | The Warner Pacific Men's Wrestling team topped Pacific University Wednesday at the C.C. Perry Gymnasium by a score of 29-9.
Zach Sais continued his recent dominance by picking up a technical fall victory 19-0 in 2:42 at 157 pounds. Additionally Sias picked up an exhibition win, also by technical fall 20-5 in 6:45 at 149 pounds. That's four straight matches that Sias has won by technical fall.
Colby Winnett put up a highlight of his own by picking up a fall in :29 at 184 pounds. Winnett bumped up two weight classes en route to picking up his victory.
The Knights added three forfeits on the night for Kaleo Gambala at 125, Connor Finch at 133 and Juan Vallejo at 285 to wrap up the 29-9 score.
The Knights will be back in action Sunday when the team travels to Pacific University to compete at the Boxer Open. Additionally, the women will compete Saturday at the Oregon Classic in Redmond, OR.
