The Owls made their offensive presence known early in the contest, as they took 10 out of their 20 shots in the first half alone. As the Owls headed into the breakup 0-1, the Knights struggled to find their rhythm on the offensive side of the ball as they were not able to get a shot attempt off.

As the match went on, the Owls kept the offensive pressure on Knights' goalkeeper,
Makenna McClellan, who ended the game with 7 saves. But the Owls were just flat-out the aggressors today as they were able to find the back of the net two more times in the second half.
