The Rundown
In a game with a combined 23 saves between the two keepers, each team managed to convert on just one shot a piece. Warner Pacific had their fair share of scoring opportunities, tallying 32 shots for the contest, marking a season high, the ball just couldn't find its way into the net.

Through the first 45 minutes of play, each team searching for their first true win on the season, pressured the other's defense; Warner Pac forcing six Bushnell saves and Bushnell seven Warner Pac saves, taking the match into the intermission knotted at zeroes.

Heading into the second half and eager to get on the board, the Knights attacked the Beacon defense firing 12 second-half shots. One of which finally fell in the 70th minute. Courtney Cutter drilled a free kick from 28-yards out.

The senior transfer from Concordia sentthe ball over the heads of the Bushnell defense, bending it around the head of the keeper and with twenty minutes to play, the Knights had taken a 1-0 lead.

Just 45-seconds after Cutter's 28-yard bomb, Bushnell's Sierra Coloma received a slicing ball through the feet of the Warner Pacific defense and found herself on a one-on-one with WPU keeper Guthrie. Coloma came out the victor of the battle to tie the ball game, a goal that would ultimately force extra time.

Despite a multitude of goal opportunities from both teams throughout the two extra periods, neither team found the break needed for the game winner and the 60 minute match ended in a 1-1 draw.
