Game Recap: Women's Soccer | | Mathew Revels - Student Journalist

The Knights Lose 2-0 Against the Beacons

Women's soccer took a tough loss against the Bushnell Beacons. The Knights fell short in the second half giving up the only two goals of the day in the 62nd and 82nd minutes of play. Even though the outcome was not as they hoped, the Knights played a clean game and put up some great numbers.

In total, the Knights put up 14 shots against the Beacons in which 7 were  on goal. Junior Kiya Gramps had 3 of the shots on goal and Junior Eileen Reyna had 2. The big highlight of the game however, was Senior Gwenyth Williford who had to step up and play keeper for the Knights since Gonzalez and Pomerinke are out on injury. Williford had 7 saves against the Beacons.

The Knights will take on Corban University tomorrow at 12pm for their final game at home of the season. This final match will also be Senior Day as the team and University will take time to honor those who are graduating for their hard work and dedication they have put in as a Warner Pacific Knight.
