Shalece Easley and the Knights Dominate Walla Walla

In an early morning game against Walla Walla University, the Knights brought the boom winning 8-0 in full time. Overall, three goals were scored in the first half and five in the second. The Knight's also put up 23 shots, 15 of which were on goal, and saved all three shots on goal against them.

The leader in scoring for the match was Senior Shalece Easley who had her first career hat trick! She scored in the 40th, 54th and 80th minutes of play with assists from Gema Granados and Junior Jackie Castellanos with one being unassisted. Besides one assist to Easley, Jackie Castellanos had two goals as well. The first was in the 30th minute of play and was assisted by Senior Olivia Stumetz. Her second goal was unassisted and came during the 71st minute of play. As for the three other goals during the match, Junior Payton Ashley scored in the 6th minute of play to start the Knights off strong, Junior Eileen Reyna scored in the 68th minute to keep the goals flowing and Olivia Stumetz drove the nail into the coffin in the 76th minute when she put the Knights up 7-0. Stumetz also had two assists on the day.

The Knights hope to keep the momentum rolling as they move into their last two matches of the regular season. The first is at the College of Idaho on November 1st at 12pm. The second, and final match of the season is at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon on November 2nd at 11am.
