Knights Finish Season With Loss to Eastern Oregon

Women's soccer ended the season with a loss to Eastern Oregon University. The final score was 3-0, as EOU put up two goals in the first half and one in the second.

The Knights did give it there all though as they took 9 shots with 4 being on goal. A big milestone was achieved when Junior Keeper Kate Pomerinke added 5 more saves to her season total which brings her career saves to 203.

The Knights this season improved their scoring in a huge way. They scored 26 goals this season which is a huge improvement over their 13 goals from last season. Shalece Easley and Kiya Gramps led the team with 6 goals apiece followed by Olivia Stumetz and Jackie Castellanos who both had three of their own. Reggie Griffith, Payton Ashley, and Eileen Reyna each had two goals. Gema Granados and Madisen Kramer each had goals as well to round out the scoring for the Knights on the season. Easley finishes her career with 7 goals as a Knight in her two seasons leading the team in goals each of those seasons. She also had 4 assists for good measure.

Overall, the Knights finished the season with an overall record of 5-11-2 with a conference record of 2-9-1. They were 3-6-1 at home and 2-4-1 on the road. The Knights will go back to the drawing board and figure out how to get over the hump and claim their first playoff appearance in program history.
