Women's soccer lost a hard-fought match against the University of Providence Argos. Both teams were tied 0-0 at the half. Then in the 63rd minute, Andriah Watson, of the Argos scored the only goal of the day. The Knights would then go on to put up some great shots, but the Argos goalkeeper kept them in check and the game ended with a Knights loss.
The Knights put up a hard fight as they attempted 17 shots throughout the match, 13 of which were on goal. Junior,
Kiya Gramps, led a lot of these attacks having 4 shots on goal. The match was very physical as well. Five cards were given out between the two teams including a second yellow for an Argos player turning it into a red card booking.
The Knights will continue their home-stand on Saturday September 27th, where they will take on the visiting Fighting Saints of Carroll College at 12pm. All home matches will take place at Eastside Timbers Sports Complex.
