FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 3rd, 2025

Eugene, Ore.| In today's match, the Warner Pacific Women's Soccer team took on Corban University in a conference matchup, and the Knights were able to take the win with the final score being 1-0.

In a tight matchup, the Knights were able to take the victory this evening, marking it their first conference win this season. The lone goal came from an unassisted Kiya Gramps in the 55th minute to put the Knights ahead. Corban did not let up, responding with some shots, but Warner's defense along with Kate Pomerinke's two saves, held it down to keep that 1-0 lead for the victory.

Even though it was a great game, it wasn't the cleanest match. A total of three yellows were handed out in which two were for the Knights and one was for the Warriors. Jenessis Cortes and Payton Ashley were each handed yellows.

Next Up
The Knights continue on the road in another conference match tomorrow when they take on Bushnell University in Eugene. The Knights hope to build off this conference win. Kickoff is set to take place this Sunday at 1pm at the Civic Field at Civic park.
