Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Women's Soccer team was in a neck-to-neck battle under the lights against Lewis & Clark College which ended in a draw with the final score being 0-0.
Today's game was a stalemate without much scoring but lots of shots throughout the night. Lewis & Clark's offense was firing tonight with a total of 12 shots on goal; however, Warner Pacific's keeper Kate Pomerinke played the full 90 minutes and saved all 12 shots she received tonight. On the opposite side of the field, Anna Ingadottier matches her opponent by saving all 4 of the shots she received from Warner Pacific.
Tonight's match was a clean one with only one yellow card booking coming in the 7th minute to Warner Pacific's Nyah Jalof.
Next Up
The Knights hope to build on this draw into Sunday's scrimmage against Chemeketa Community College, kickoff at 6 pm at the Eastside Timbers Sports Complex. The next regular season game for the Knights will be the start of conference play against Eastern Oregon on September 19th at 12pm once again at home.
