Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific Men's Soccer is proud to announce the signing of true freshman Brian Cruz to the 2026 squad.
 
Cruz is a local kid from nearby Gresham, Oregon and attends Sam Barlow High School until completion this spring of 2026. While in high school, Cruz played four years of soccer. While playing high school soccer, Cruz earned Second-Team Mt. Hood Conference, Mt Hood Honorable Mention, and Best Defensive Player On Team.
 
"Brian provides additional options for our program at left back and is a gifted ball winner," Head Coach Troy Ready said. "His quickness and timing of tackles are a key component to his strength as a player and I anticipate that he will thrive within our environment. We are proud to have another local freshman call Warner Pacific home."
 
Cruz comes to Warner Pacific as a true freshman who plans to study business and play left back for the Knights. A few fun facts about Cruz is that he loves playing video games, go on runs and hike, read, and spend time by himself.
