Jarrod Seibel Hits First Home Run of the Season in Two Loss Day to LCSC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 25th,  2026

Lewiston, Idaho.| Warner Pacific Knights Baseball continued their series today and played two more games against Lewis-Clark State College. The Knights lost both games. Final scores of 15-5 and game two 8-4.

Game Two 
The scoring got started right away with LCSC in the bottom of the first, cashing in with five runs to open it up. The Knights would respond and get two runs on a single and sac fly. They would close that lead once more, putting up two more in the top of the fourth. LCSC would add on to their and get one. The Knights trying to get back into this game would score once again in the top of the sixth with a home run. LCSC would go on to explode, putting one in the sixth, six in the seventh, and two more in the bottom of the eighth to win the game via mercy.

The Knights on offense would only get five hits in this match. Collin Schiller would lead this game with two hits and a RBI. Jarrod Seibel would have a day coming around to score three times along with his first homer of the season. On the mound, Jaxson Hamada would go six innings but give up 13 runs and only get two strikeouts. Brooks Frere would close this game pitching one inning and giving up two runs. 

Game Three
This game started strong for the Knights as they would go and get two early in the first. LCSC would respond with one of their own in the bottom of the second. The Knights would grow their lead once more to two runs as they would score on a single in the top of the third. A big inning here shifted the momentum to LCSC in the bottom of the fifth as they would score five runs and add on another two in the bottom of the seventh, this being enough to take the win despite the Knights adding one more run in the top of the eighth. 

Seven hits for the WarnerPac offense in this one lots of one hit games by multiple players. Seibel and Donny Tober would get theirs and cash in an RBI while they were at it. Along with a big pinch hit knock by Anthony Zisa leaving the yard to help cut that lead down. On the mound Ayden Yeager would pitch 6.2 innings allowing eight hits with three strikeouts. Kaden Hindman would finish this game pitching 1.1 innings allowing no runs 

Next Up
The Knights will gear up for tomorrow and finish their season against LCSC. This game will once again be held at Harris Field and will be played at 1am.
