Scott grew up in Scappoose, OR, and graduated from Scappoose High School in 2000 before returning to his alma mater in 2012 to take over as the boy's soccer head coach. The Indians won their first two league titles in program history under Scott's guidance and he has been the head coach of youth teams at every age from U8 to U19 and every level of competitiveness from recreational to ECNL.
Scott has a BA from Portland State University and holds his USSF "A" License.  Outside of soccer Scott enjoys music, traveling, cooking, photography / videography, remodeling his house, and woodworking.
