Whitney brings over two decades of coaching experience with a career that spans 21 years and includes extensive success at both the high school and collegiate levels. Whitney’s high school resume features dozens of state champions and a state record which is a testament to her dedication and expertise. At the college level, Whitney made an immediate impact in her first year at Multnomah University guiding her sprint group to a conference championship in both the 100 and 200 meters. Under Whitney’s leadership, every athlete achieved lifetime personal bests during their collegiate careers.
“I always say sports saved my life,” Whitney said. Whitney grew up in a turbulent home without a father figure so sports became Whitney’s anchor giving her purpose, confidence, and direction. While still in high school Whitney said, “I will be the person I dream to be not the person I accidentally become.”
Whitney is also a certified personal trainer and holds a strength and conditioning certification equipping her with a comprehensive approach to athletic development. Whitney is the founder and head coach of Resolute Track Club which is a highly competitive youth program. In the most recent season, Resolute athletes earned seven state titles as well as 25 top eight podium finishes at the state meet. Driven by passion and purpose, Whitney is committed to helping athletes reach their full potential on and off the track.
Outside of coaching, Whitney loves going on adventures with her family which consists of her husband and their two sons. Whitney enjoys staying active through fitness and finds peace and joy in yard work. Whitney also has a passion for photography and capturing life’s special moments.
