Matt Gregg

Matt Gregg joined the Warner Pacific University athletic department as head women’s basketball coach in 2008 after multiple successful season in the Spokane high school districts. 

Over the course of his time at the helm, Coach Gregg has coached 30 All-Conference, 43 Academic All-Conference, 27 NAIA Scholar-Athletes and 5 All-American athletes.

In September of 2020, Coach Gregg's 2019-20 Women's Basketball team received national recognition as the NAIA Champions of Character Team of the Year. The team was recognized for their consistent presence and servant hood within the Portland homeless community, as well as their Sixth Lady, Lexy De Los Reyes. 
 
The native of Clarkston, Washington competed in basketball at University of Idaho and Lewis-Clark State College before graduating from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Elementary Education. Gregg received his Masters of Education from Lesley University.
 
Outside of coaching, Gregg enjoys golfing, spending time with his family and most recently becoming a grandfather. Matt and his wife of 25 years, Kori, have three children; Jordan, Patrick and Benjamin, who will be playing basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs in 2021. The family resides in Clackamas, Oregon.
