Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. - Evergreen tallied their second Cascade Conference win tonight with a 3-1 (25-23, 26-24, 19-25, 26-24) decision over Warner Pacific at C.C. Perry Gym.

The match was closely fought and featured 48 tie scores and 14 lead changes over the four frames of action.

In set one, the largest lead by either side was two points as the teams traded points the entire way. The visiting Geoducks (3-13, 2-9 CCC) took the set with kills from Molly King and Kelsey Delagrange. Set two was much the same but with the score tied at 24-24, the Knights committed two costly hitting errors to hand the frame to Evergreen.

Warner Pacific bounced back to claim set three 25-19 despite falling behind 5-1 in the early going. The host Knights (4-18, 1-11 CCC) ironically swung for just eight kills in the set - their lowest total of the match - but served over three aces and took advantage of 10 Geoduck errors to prolong the contest. Julia Toscano was key for the Knights, putting down four of her 17 kills through three sets.

Evergreen closed out the match with a 26-24 victory in set four, again making plays when it counted. With the score 24-23 in favor of WPC, Cassidy Watkins scored back to back kills and then ESC ended the match with a combo block.

Watkins and King led the way for Evergreen, each scoring 13 kills for the match. Victoria Love added 12 kills. Kelsey Delagrange contributed five kills, 44 assists, and 13 digs.

Toscano finished with a career high 25 kills on the night for WPC. Mikaela Lisoski added 11 kills, while Brandy Velasquez had a match high 19 digs. Marchelle Bostic touched up a match high 53 assists.

COMING UP: Warner Pacific will host Northwest tomorrow night at C.C. Perry Gym, while Evergreen heads to #20 Concordia.
