Box Score KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – A
Ryan Parks 3-point attempt to tie rimmed out with under eight seconds to play and Oregon Tech weathered a Warner Pacific comeback bid to earn a 68-65 victory in the opening day of Cascade Conference men's basketball action tonight at Danny Miles Court.
Oregon Tech improved to 6-5 on the season and 1-0 in CCC play, as Head Coach Danny Miles continues to inch toward career-win 1,000, sitting at win 993 heading into tomorrow's contest versus No. 13 Concordia University. WPC drops to 4-7 overall and 0-1 in the conference standings and next travels to Southern Oregon University tomorrow.
Brandon Bautista led Tech with 14 points and handed out six assists. Duncan Schramm added 13 points and five rebounds with Josh Johnson and Kyle Waits hitting for 10 points each and seven rebounds apiece in the win.

Doug Thomas finished with a team-high 13 points with
William Sharp adding 12.
Sean Gaines chipped in 11 and
Michael Hall added nine points to go with his 11 rebounds.
Tech finished just 36.1% shooting on 22-for-61, but connected on 10 shots from the 3-point line. Warner Pacific connected on 52.2% from the field on 24-of-46 with a 5-for-15 effort from long range (33.3%). The Owls held a 36-31 advantage in rebounds.
