Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. – Saint Martin's used their size advantage at the net to earn a 3-1 win over Warner Pacific in a non-conference matchup tonight at C.C. Perry Gym

The visiting Saints (2-8) put up 15 team blocks for the match compared to just one for WPC. The host Knights (3-10) swung for 39 kills on the night, but also committed 31 errors thanks to the wall of hands at the net from Saint Martin's

The Knights took set one despite hitting for just eight kills, as WP fired over five service aces in the frame – four by Marchelle Bostic. SMU did not help their own cause by committing five service errors.

The Saints' front line took over from there, led by Kyra Davidson who pounded out 17 kills versus just two errors, and seven block assists. Kristin Ross added 12 kills, helping Saint Martin's to 51 team kills for the match.

Warner Pacific was led by Julia Toscano with 13 kills. Mikaela Lisoski added nine kills, while Bostic finished with a match high 30 assists.

The Knights will return to Cascade Conference play this weekend with contests at Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon.
