Box Score ASHLAND, Ore. - Warner Pacific fell to Southern Oregon in four sets tonight on the road, dropping the Knights to 1-5 in Cascade Conference play.
After taking the first set 26-24, It looked like the visiting Knights might duplicate their result from last season in Ashland and escape with a win.
Rachel Warick pounded out eight kills and WP totaled 18 winners in the frame to gain the early advantage.
The host Raiders rebounded however, and swept to wins in the next three sets. SOU's effeciency on the attack began to swing the momentum, eventually hitting for a match high .550 in the decisive fourth set.
Three Southern Oregon players finished with double digit kills, led by Liz Madden with 14.
Warick ended with a career high 15 kills for the match.
Julia Toscano added 14 winners, while
Marchelle Bostic had 39 assists.
Warner Pacific dropped to 3-12 overall, while SOU improved to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in CCC action.
