Knights Claim Another Road Win, Hold Off NCU

Box Score EUGENE, Ore.. – Warner Pacific won their third straight game on Saturday night, defeating Northwest Christian, 75-66 in the Morse Event Center. The Knights have now won eight in a row against the Beacons and haven't lost in Eugene since 2004.

WPC (10-9, 4-3 CCC) shot 52% from the field and hit 11 three-pointers while holding NCU to just 14% shooting from three-point range. Northwest Christian shot 42% and was out-rebounded, 37-33.

The Beacons (10-7, 4-3) were led by Spencer Coleman, scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Austin Kuemper added 17 points and four assists and Javonte Byrd finished with 14.

Warner Pacific was led off the bench by Marcus Moore, shooting 5-for-11 from outside the arc to finish with 22 points. Doug Thomas added 21 points shooting 7-for-10 from the field. He also hit five treys. Sean Gaines put in 12 points and led all players with three steals. Josh Black had a strong night with 9 assists.
