PORTLAND, Ore.. - Warner Pacific scored first, but the tally did not hold up as Rocky Mountain rallied to defeat the Knights 3-1 today at David Douglas High School.

The Short Story:Â
Ashley Valencia put the host team ahead in the 24th minute with a neat finish after a through ball from
Carley Turner. The advantage for WP lasted until just before halftime, when Evelina Aberg found the back of the net in the 44th minute. The visiting Bears tacked on two more goals in the second period as Aberg struck again just three minutes in, and Gabi Heflin added the insurance goal in the 57th minute.

• Valencia's goal was her second of the season.Â

Allie Holterman was replaced late in the first period as a precaution.
• Aberg now has three goals on the season for Rocky Mountain.
