Ashley Valencia and
Cristal Ruvalcaba each found the back of the net twice in a 5-0 win over Trinity Lutheran tonight at Strasser Field.

• The Short Story: Taking on a Trinity Lutheran side that had just nine players in uniform, Warner Pacific eventually wore down the visiting Eagles for a 5-0 non-conference win. Despite the 2-player advantage, it took until the 40th minute for the Knights to break through for a goal.
Ashley Valencia scored the first of her two on the night with a point blank finish of a shot from
Crystal Foster that clanged off the post. WP found the resistance from the TLC defense easier to crack in the second half, and were able to find the net four more times, including a brace from
Cristal Ruvalcaba.
