SALEM, Ore.. - Cristal Ruvalcaba scored a goal 14 seconds into the second half, leading Warner Pacific to a 1-0 victory on Saturday night at Sparks Field.

 Location: Sparks Field, Salem, Ore.
 The Short Story:  The game's only goal was netted by Cristal Ruvalcaba of WPC at the 45:14 mark off an assist by Ashley Valencia. The scoring play began with a steal off the opening kickoff of the second half, as Valencia sent a through ball onto the foot of Ruvalcaba. After collecting the pass, Rivalcaba dribbled along the end line before unleashing a shot from 12 yards out into the upper right corner for the eventual game-winner.

Notables

Ruvalcaba bagged the goal while making her first appearance of 2014. 
 Goalkeeper Allie Holterman made five saves on the way to her second career shutout.
 Valencia registered her 5th career assist.
 Willamette outshot the the Knights 12-4, and the host Beacats earned four corner kicks comapred to WP's three.
