PORTLAND, Ore. – Warner Pacific scored three goals after halftime to defeat Oregon Tech 3-1 and earn their second Cascade Conference victory of the season.
After a lackluster first period that generated just two total shots, the Knights produced two goals inside sixty seconds. In the 54th minute,
Logan Fischer opened her WPC account with a point blank finish after an initial save by the Owl goalkeeper. Less than a minute later,
Ashley Giesbers found space from 12 yards away and placed a shot from left to right into the upper corner.
Giesbers sealed the game in the 68th minute with her 9th goal of the season, driving a shot from 20 yards away that went into the net just inside the left post.
Tori Roberts gave the Owls a 1-0 lead going into halftime with a long looping shot in the 35th minute that was placed perfectly over the outstretched hands of Knight keeper
