KIRKLAND, Wash. – Third-seeded Northwest University advanced to the semifinals of the 2016 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, registering a 3-1 (26-24, 25-21, 21-25, and 25-17) over sixth-seed Warner Pacific on Tuesday night.
After dropping the first two sets by close margins, the Knights took set three and were hoping to extend the match to five sets as they did last week in Portland. WP led 9-8 in the frame, but watched the host Eagles run off eight straight points to take control of the match.
NU hit .219 as Amanda Waterman led the way with 14 kills followed by Hannah Hanson with 10 kills. Morgan Pilon tallied 42 assists for NU while Leia Roy finished with a match high 27 digs.

Kealia Rosa ended the night with a match high 47 assists and
Janessa Mast collected 21 kills.
