PORTLAND, Ore. - Southern Oregon extended their winning streak to 13 games after Saturday night's 80-60 win over Warner Pacific in Cascade Conference action at Bart Valentine Court.
The Raiders had five players in double figure scoring led by Autumn Durand with 14 points. The SOU pressure defense also forced the Knights into 21 turnovers.
WPC matched the 4th ranked Raiders in the first quarter, trailing just 15-13 after the opening 10 minutes. This visitors imposed their will in the 2nd and 3rd periods however, and led by as many as 27 points in the second half.
The Knights won the 4th quarter with a better shooting effort but the gap was too much to overcome.
Bailey Allen scored a season high 19 for WPC to lead all scorers. The Knight defense was also pesky, turning SOU over 18 times.
