KIRKLAND, Wash. - Northwest University hit 48 per cent of their shots as they solved Warner Pacific's zone defense for a 90-77 CCC victory to improve to 2-0 in league play and 10-0 on the season.

Warner Pacific took an early 18-15 lead in the first half after
Montel Shirley's driving lay-up at the 11:44 mark, but Northwest U came back to outscore the Knights 28-10 go ahead 43-28 with 1:26 to play in the half.Â
Keaton Bankofier's 3-pointer at the 1:05 mark would close the gap to 43-31 as the half ended.

Northwest U maintained the lead the entire second half. With 14:35 left on the clock
Montel Shirley's basket would cut the NU lead to seven, 56-49, but a Dupree lay-up and a 3-pointer by Dak Shagren built the Eagles lead back up to 12. Justice Martion basket at the 8:31 mark would gave NU their largest lead, 74-57, as the Eagles went on to win and remain undefeated on the season.

Michael Dupree led the Eagles with 20 points hitting 4 of 9 from the 3 point line. In addition to Dupree's 20, Northwest U got 18 points from Ben Tucakovic and Justice Martion. Dak Shagren added 16 points and 10 assists along with 6 rebounds.

Warner Pacific (3-3, 1-1 CCC) was led by De'Corius Sampson-Young's 19 points along with 17 points by
Bryce White.
Collin Malcolm scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the double-double. WPC hit 43 per cent form the floor and were held to 23 percent shooting from the 3-point line.
