COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. - Warner Pacific men's soccer finally put one on the win column with a 4-3 victory over Walla Walla today on the road.
Harry Pilkington put WPC on the board in the 9th minute, knocking in his first goal of the season off a pass from Javier Sanchez. Just two minutes later,
Fernando Ibanez tacked on another score with
Octavio Hermosillo credited with the assist.
WP headed into halftime with a 3-0 lead as Ibanez scored a second goal with five minutes remaining in the first period.
WPC looked to be cruising to an easy win after Pilkington found the net again in the 66th minute to make the score 4-0 in favor of the visitors.
The host Wolves had other ideas and put three goals on the board inside of 20 minutes remaining. Jordan St. George, Zarin Santos, and Andrew Nye all tallied for WWU but it was too little, too late.
