Knight Men Shutout Multnomah

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Warner Pacific men's soccer team earned their first shutout of the season with a 2-0 win over Multnomah yesterday at Delta Park.

Harry Pilkington got the game-winner for the Knights with an unassisted goal in the 39th minute in the first half. Pilkington later assisted on a second-goal by Frank Orellana in the 64th minute that gave the visitors a little breathing room.

Bailey Thomason got the shutout win in goal for Warner Pacific, stopping a penalty kick attempt by the Lions' Hayden Smedley in the 68th minute that would have cut the Knights' lead in half.

WPC had 21 total shots compared to 11 for the host Lions, and earned six corner kicks compared to two for MU.
