Bowman's Big Night Sends WPC Past Pios

PORTLAND, Ore. - De'Jon Bowman poured in a career best 30 points to lead Warner Pacific to the road win at Lewis & Clark, 91-90 on Wednesday night.

The senior found space in the paint to hit 14 of 17 shot attempts, while adding 12 rebounds to his dominating night. The Knights (4-2) needed every bucket as WP built a 15 point second half lead only see it dwindle down to one at the end of the game.

An evenly played 1st half ended with a 39-38 lead for host Lewis & Clark (0-1), The Knights made just 4 of 12 free throws in the period to allow the Pioneers the slim advantage.

WPC scored 17 of the first 20 points of the 2nd half to take control, but L&C made 10 of their 14 three pointers after halftime to stay within shouting distance.
