SALEM, Ore. - Scoring was at a premium tonight for the banged up Knights, as Warner Pacific dropped a CCC game at Corban 85-49.
Coach Gregg's squad has been down to six players for much of the season, and amongst those six are several who are playing though injuries that must be ignored come game time.
A road game versus a solid Corban squad proved to be too much for the intrepid group, as the Knights were unable to find their scoring range. WPC managed just 25 percent shooting for the game, hitting just 17 of 66 tries. The host Warriors on the other hand, tickled the twine at a 51 percent clip.
Michaela Pin found enough space to drop in a season high 19 points for the Knights, including five makes from the three point line.
Bailey Allen added 13 points and 5 assists.
Maddie Pflaumer led all players with 21 points and 13 rebounds for Corban.
