PORTLAND, Ore. – An unseasonably balmy October day saw Warner Pacific put seven goals past Walla Walla, with
Bailey Thomason scoring a brace for the Knights.
Octavio Hermosillo found the net just three minutes into the game, setting the tone for the game. WPU scored three more before halftime including the pair from senior forward Thomason.
Cesar Contreras opened the second period with a goal just five minutes in, and the Knight defense continued to turn aside all attacks by the visiting Wolves to preserve the shutout.
WPU improved to 5-7-1 and 3-4-1 in CCC play. Walla Walla fell to 0-14 and 0-9.
