ORTLAND, Ore. – Eastern Oregon finally broke through a determined Warner Pacific defense, putting in three goals in the final 8 minutes to earn the CCC victory at a blustery Eastside Timbers field.
 
WPU keeper Alyssa Guthrie made 14 saves to keep the Mountaineers off the board, and the Knights managed a few forays into their final third. Tear'Sa Krieger nearly gave WP an improbable lead in the second half, but Cyndi Cottrell made a fingertip save to push the effort over the bar.
 
EOU's possession on the ball and persistence paid off eventually, as Mackinley Gregus tapped in a rebound in the 82nd minute to put the Mountaineers ahead. Two more goals came late, as Kaitlyn McLoed and Taylor Boyer each scored to make the final 3-0.
