PORTLAND, Ore. – Melisa Ljuca set a new WPU attack percentage record with 17 kills on 20 swings (.850) during a 3-0 sweep over New Hope Christian today in Portland.
 
The senior bested her own record set earlier this season versus Evergreen, and helped the Knights (8-14, 6-11 CCC) to a season best .360 hitting percentage for the match.
 
WP kept the visiting Beacons (11-13) off balance all night with tough serving, and finished with 8 service aces as a team.
 
Chandler Heinrick was the lone threat for New Hope, putting away 8 kills versus just one error.
