SALEM, Ore. - Warner Pacific fell to 4-2 in CCC play after a 74-55 loss at Corban tonight.
The Knight offense never got on track, as WP shooters made just 31 percent of their field goal attempts. The host Warriors benefited from a big advantage at the free throw line, converting 20 of 28 tries compared to 8 of 14 for WP.
The game was decided during the 2nd and 3rd quarters. WP actually outscored Corban taking the 1st and 4th quarters solely into account, but the Warriors were the dominant team otherwise. Corban exploded for 27 points in the 3rd period to build an insurmountable lead.'
