Knights Sweep Wolves in Three Sets

Portland, Ore. | Warner Pacific hosted Walla Walla in a late-night Saturday game at CC Perry Gymnasium. The Knights were able to grab another win on the season with a quick 3-0 victory over the Wolves. The match lasted 65 minutes.

The first set started out even, both teams exchanging a couple of points. The Wolves led the Knights at one point, 10-8, but the Knights were able to pull away and go on a 4-0 run to take and maintain the lead. The first set ended 25-18.

The Knights opened the second set with 5 straight points, taking a 5-1 lead. After an exchange of a few serving errors, the Knights were able to seal the victory 25-17.

The third and final set was pretty much managed by WPU, who only kept Wolves to 12 points, going on multiple 5-0 runs and forcing a few time outs before finalizing the match with a 25-12 set.
