La Grande, Ore. | Warner Pacific traveled east to face the Mountaineers of Eastern Oregon University on Saturday night. WPU fell 0-3.
 
The Mounties got off to a quick lead, scoring just 5 minutes into the match and forcing the Knights to tighten up their defense. They did just that; heading into half, WPU trailed 1-0.
 
The first 15 minutes of the second half was a defensive effort by both teams, as the Knights' offense were looking the for the counter to tie the game. EOU found a crack in the WPU defense and were able to put in their second goal in the 57^th minute.
 
Despite Warner Pacific's best effort to get on the board, the Mounties found the back of the net for the match's final goal in the 65^th minute. The Knights weren't able to break down the EOU defense to get on the board, and the match ended with a 0-3 defeat.
 
The Knights will face the College of Idaho Yotes on Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm.
