Knights Men's Soccer Keeps Winning Streak Alive With 3-2 Defeat Over Walla Walla

College Place, WA | Warner Pacific defeated the Wolves of Walla Walla University 3-2 in the conference opener on Friday night. The win was the 4th straight for the Knights, bringing them to a 4-1 record overall and 1-0 in conference play.
 
The Wolves struck first, finding the back of the net in the 10th minute. The Knights equalized with a goal in the 16th minute by Omar Alcazar and took the lead in the 25th with a goal by Arturo Bahena, ending the first 45-minutes of play with a 2-1 lead.
 
Entering the second half, the Wolves tied the game in the 59th minute. WPU responded quickly in the 65th minute with Bahena's second goal of the night to take a 3-2 lead and ultimately seal the victory
 
The Knights head to Billings, MT Saturday morning to face off against the Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College on Sunday, 9-23. The match is set for 2:30PM.
