College Place, WA | Warner Pacific defeated the Wolves of Walla Walla University 3-2 in the conference opener on Friday night. The win was the 4
th straight for the Knights, bringing them to a 4-1 record overall and 1-0 in conference play.

The Wolves struck first, finding the back of the net in the 10
th minute. The Knights equalized with a goal in the 16
th minute by
Omar Alcazar and took the lead in the 25
th with a goal by
Arturo Bahena, ending the first 45-minutes of play with a 2-1 lead.

Entering the second half, the Wolves tied the game in the 59
th minute. WPU responded quickly in the 65
th minute with Bahena's second goal of the night to take a 3-2 lead and ultimately seal the victory

The Knights head to Billings, MT Saturday morning to face off against the Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College on Sunday, 9-23. The match is set for 2:30PM.
