Portland, Ore. | The Knights Men's Soccer Team hosted the Beacons of Northwest Christian University under the lights on Saturday night.

The Knights seemed to control the pace of play for the entirety of the 90-minute match, allowing just a 2-shot, none on goal game for the Beacons. WPU also managed to keep NCU to 0 corner kicks for the match.

It took the Knights just 15 minutes to get on the scoreboard as Senior
Kingsley Armah booted one in from 15-yards out. Shortly after,Â
Arturo Bahena met a beautiful cross from
Omar Alcazar to take the Knights up 2-0.

Armah went on to score in the 32
nd minute as well, leading all players with 2 goals for the night.

WPU went into halftime with a 3-0 lead, leaving hardly any room for the Beacon offense to even get a glimpse at the goal and after a physical drive and foul, Jr.
Danilo Alfradique capitalized on a Free Kick from 12-yards out.

In the 12
th minute,
Franklin Cordon took a corner kick that met the foot of
Omar Alcazar, who sent the ball through the Beacon defense to Sophomore MF
Anthony Avellaneda, sending the ball past the keeper for the fifth and final goal.

Franklin Cordon and
Omar Alcazar both led the Knights with two assists.Â
The Knights will face off against Multnomah University on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 4:30 PM.
