Billings, Mont. | The Warner Pacific University Women's Soccer team (3-9, 2-7) fell on Friday afternoon to the Rocky Mountain College (8-5-2, 5-4-1) on the Battlin' Bears' home field for the first of a two game Montana road trip, 0-3.
Offensive chances have eluded WPU the entire season, and today's game proved no different, as the Knights just couldn't get anything going near the Bears' goal. Three shots on goal from three different Knights continues to show that Warner Pacific has the capabilities of spreading out the ball and providing opportunities for multiple players to score.
Scoring today for the Bears was forward Brynn Klinefelter, who found the back of the net unassisted in the first half, then was overshadowed by midfielder Halle Labert's two goals to provide enough of a cushion for Rocky Mountain to focus up on defense and keep the Knights away from their end of the field.
Warner Pacific will finish off their long road trip tomorrow at 3:30pm MST (2:30pm PST) when they travel to Great Falls, Mont. and take on the University of Providence Argos for their 7
th consecutive road game.
