PORTLAND | Warner Pacific women's soccer dropped Monday's Cascade Collegiate Conference match up to Corban University. The Knights held the Warriors to just one goal in the first half before closing out the game with a 0-4 defeat.

The Rundown
The Warriors struck quickly, finding the back of the net just ten minutes into the match but the Knights responded well, tightening up their defense and closing gaps to take it to halftime with just a 0-1 deficit.

Out of the break, Warner Pac played tight defense, cutting off the Warrior pressure before they could find daylight.

In the 50
th minute, the Knights committed a costly foul in the penalty box, giving the Warriors an opportunity to extend their lead but Knights keeper
Isabell Bauer thought differently. The junior keeper came up with a spectacular save, keeping it a one-point Warrior lead.

After nearly thirty minutes of play in the second half, Corban scored once more in the 72
nd minute to make it a 2-0 ball game.

Just five minutes later, Corban capitalized on a Corner kick in the 77
th minute by Mei Suetsugu.

To close out their home season for the Spring 2021 season with an exclamation point, Mei Suetsugu scored once more in the 86
th minute from 20-yards out.
