Abby Carlson threw five strikeouts in five innings, throwing 79 pitches.
"Today was just a solid all-around performance" commented Ohta. "Our pitchers threw really well, our defense was solid, we made good adjustments at the plate as the games went on, and came up with some quality at bats when the games were on the line" he said.

The Knights were held scoreless in the opener before
Devinne Amesquita singled down to center with bases loaded.
Emma Foster followed with a single of her own and the Knights finished the sixth inning scoring four runs; good enough for a 4-1 victory in game one.
