Portland, Ore. | The Knights headed down to Forest Grove, Oregon to face the Pacific Boxers. Just a week ago, the Knights took care of business on their home floor against the Boxers, unfortunately that was not the case tonight as Pacific gained their revenge with a 62-71 win over the Knights.

The Rundown
Â
The Knights are coming into tonight's game with momentum fueled by their three-game win streak, one of those games beating Pacific. However, the Boxers maintained control of the tempo for most of the contest.
Â
The Boxers jumped out on the Knights in the first quarter as Warner struggled to get into an offensive half-court rhythm as the Boxers scored 11 of their 22 first quarter points off of Knights' turnovers. Both teams were actually all tied up with about four minutes left in the first quarter until the Boxers put together an 9-2 run to close out the quarter.
Â
The Knights respond early as
Courtney Jackson opens up the second quarter by draining a three pointer. Since the first quarter ended, fatigue began to set in for the Boxers' reserves stepped up and came in and score 10 of their 16 second quarter points to help hold off the Knights from taking the lead heading into the break.
Â
The Knights carried that momentum into the third quarter,
Lynden Harry drills a three pointer. Followed by a steal from
Gabriella Bruno to lead her to a two-point bucket, giving the Knights the lead 41-40.
Â
Warner Pacific was leading by two heading into the fourth quarter.
Â
Down the stretch, giving up offensive rebounds and missed free throws is what really hurt the Knights in tonight's contest. Giving up 11 offensive rebounds and shooting 5-12 (41.7%) from the FT line in the second half alone.
Â
The Boxers went on to score the Knights in the fourth quarter 24-13, as the Knights were not able to hang on this time in Forest Grove.
