The Rundown
Just four minutes into the game, Eastern Oregon's McCullough reached the six-point mark, making him the school's all-time leading scorer. McCullough, bringing the ball up the court, with the help of a dribble hand-off, sprinted to the corner. Notorious as the Mounties' catch-and-shoot guy, McCullough set his feet and drained the trey. As the ball met the net, the EOU bench erupted. The senior had become the school's all-time leading scorer.

Looking for revenge from the night before, Eastern Oregon jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead as Warner Pacific struggled to find an offense. The Knights trailed for the first 10 minutes of the game before the squad went on a 9-0 run to close the gap and take a 24-22 lead.

The sharp shooting Mountaineers, knocking down nine three's in the first half alone, caught the Knight defense on their heels. Throughout the first twenty minutes of play, the two teams exchanged the lead five times.

Warner Pac headed into the break with a 42-41 lead. The first half saw the likes 11 Kaleb Tompkins points, including three treys; Tompkins led the team in scoring at the half.

Coming out of the break, something took over Isaac Etter.  The junior out of Los Angeles scored 28 points in 18 just minutes.

The Knights managed to maintain the one-point halftime lead and extend it to as many as 11 at the 5:22 mark of the final half of play. With just under three minutes, Eastern Oregon had managed to cut the lead to five thanks to none other than yet another Max McCullough three-pointer.

Down the stretch, Warner Pacific, recognizing the hot handed Etter, the Knights got the rock in the guard's hand. Etter scored 10 points in the last two minutes of the game to seal the victory for Warner Pacific.

Warner Pacific shot a painstakingly 64% from the field in the second half.

EOU's Max McCullough finished with 32 points on 10-17 3-pointers with five assists and five steals. Justin Jeske followed behind him with 17 points and 10 boards. The Mounties shot 42.3% from the field and 40.5% from three point land, knocking down 15.

Warner Pacific's Isaac Etter led all scorers with 35 points followed by three other Knights in double figures: Kaleb Tompkins with 13, Drew Magaoay with a quiet 13 and 10 double-double, and Christian Hodge contributed 10 points.

The Knights finished shooting 55.2% from the field and 47% from behind the arc. The team missed just two free throws on the night. Warner Pac took care of the ball, committing just eight turnovers, while forcing 14 Mountie turnovers.
