KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. | Warner Pacific wrapped up their spring 2021 season in a 51-67 defeat to the Lady Owls of Oregon Tech on Saturday afternoon. The Knights end the bizarre season 7-10 (3-7 CCC) as they look to resume a normal season come the winter.
"It was a crazy year with stops and starts, no contact, and masks but the women stay positive and worked hard throughout" said Knights head coach,
Matt Gregg.

The Rundown
Oregon Tech jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead over Warner Pacific through the first four minutes of the game. A lead they would hold over the Knights wire to wire, paving the way to a 16-point victory.
The Knights got on the board with a pair of
Khloe Snair free throws at the six minute mark. Snair went on to lead the team in scoring on the day with nine points on 3-8 from the field.
Through the first two quarters, the Knights remained in the fight keeping the lead below double digits. At the end of the first twenty minutes of play, Warner Pacific trailed by eight.
The game began to slip through the Knights' fingers when the Lady Owls came out with a dominating 26-19 third quarter, pulling away with the lead and extending it to as many as 17.
Warner Pac started the final quarter with a 6-0 run, closing in on the lead and bringing it within double-digits once again before the Lady Owls scored seven points in the last 90-seconds of play to seal the victory in 67-51 fashion.
Offensively, Warner Pacific struggled to take the lid off the tin in the contest as the team shot just 28.1% from the floor. Struggling from the floor, the Knights succeeded at the free throw line shooting 11-12 from the charity stripe.
Of the 18 Warner Pacific made baskets, the team dished out 11 assists.
Kylie Guelsdorf led the team with four.
Warner Pacific grabbed 42 boards to the Lady Owls' 47s.
Courtney Jackson and
Kali Kruger led the Knights with six apiece.
All three Warner Pacific seniors contributed for the Knights;
Khloe Snair led the team with nine points while
Kali Kruger scored eight and grabbed six rebounds.
Gabriella Bruno finished the day with six points and five rebounds.
"The seniors did a great job for us and I feel bad how we finished this weekend" said Gregg. "I really wanted their last game to be a win," he concluded.
