ASHLAND, Ore.| Warner Pacific fell in three straight sets to No. 23 Southern Oregon in their match on Saturday 25-15, 25-9, 25-14.
Knights volleyball had their work cut out for them when they traveled to take on No. 23 Southern Oregon.
The Knights held strong for the first half of the first set. Warner was able to take Southern Oregon to 14-14 tie to open up the first set. From there, Southern Oregon took over and went on a 11-1 run to close out the first set 25-15.
Southern Oregon carried their momentum into the second set, jumping out to a 10-3 lead early on before going on to win the set 25-9.
The final set saw Southern Oregon jump out to 7-2. Warner was able to fight to reduce the deficit to two at 10-8. The Knights rally wasn't enough, however, and Southern Oregon went on to take the final set 25-14.
The loss drops Knights volleyball to 1-10 on the season. Volleyball is back in action on October 7 when they travel to take on Northwest University. Â Â
