PORTLAND, Ore.| The Knights fell to Rocky Mountain College by a score of 2-0 in their matchup on Saturday.
The Battlin' Bears controlled the flow of the game in the first half. Warner created a few scoring opportunities, but were on the defensive for the majority of the half.
Maja Albertsen gave Rocky Mountain their first goal in the game in the 12
th minute off of a corner kick. The Bears followed up 8 minutes later with a goal from Morgan Maack to bring the game to 2-0 in the 20
th minute.
Rocky Mountain played to protect their lead in the second half, backing off the offensive urgency and seeking instead to burn the clock. The Knights looked to create scoring opportunities but had their looks foiled, attempting only one shot in the second half.
The Bears defense kept Warner from scoring and the game ended 2-0 in favor of Rocky Mountain.

Kate Pomerinke turned in a solid effort in the net. Pomerinke recorded 8 saves on the day.
The loss drops the Knights to 6-8-2 on the year. Women's soccer is in action Oct. 28 when they travel to take on Oregon Tech.
