PORTLAND, Ore.| The Knights fell in straight sets to College of Idaho in their matchup on Friday night 25-17, 25-15, 25-12.
The first set saw the closest action of the night. Warner was able to match College of Idaho's scoring and keep the Yotes within striking distance. The Knights tied up the first set at 17-17 after not allowing College of Idaho to gain more than a three point lead. From there, however, the Yotes were able to go on an 8-0 run to take the first set 25-17.
College of Idaho was able to maintain control in the second and third sets. The Yotes jumped out to early leads and prevented Warner from generating consistent offense. The Knights dropped the final two sets 25-15 and 25-12.
Top performances for the Knights include
Elizabeth Reid who led the team with 9 kills and had a .280 hitting percentage. In addition,
Sabah Mohammady led the team with 20 digs, and JuJu Williams led the Knights with 14 assists.
The loss drops the Knights to 1-15 on the year. Volleyball is back in action Oct. 22 when they host Eastern Oregon University.
